Daiwa was established as a joint venture with DAIWA INDUSTRIAL LIMITED (Osaka, Japan) in 1979, started off as a distributor of generic electronic components such as diodes, transistors and variable resistors. The Group are distributors for renowned brands such as Rohm, Diodes, LiteOn, Samwha MLCC and substantially expanded in market share.

In 1989 Daiwa Group established our presence in Canada by setting up our first international office in Toronto. The main focus of the Canadian offices is to expand in the distribution of personal computers and their subsequent components. This lead to long term partnerships and official distributorships with many top brands such as MSI, Gigabyte, LG, Thermaltake, Cooler Master, NZXT and many more

In 1994, due to the consistent success of Daiwa Group, we officially listed on the HK Stock Exchange

Fast forward to today, Daiwa Group remains a strong group with three clear directions. Manufacturing, distribution of semiconductors and the distribution of personal computer products. Our manufacturing base is now located in Tangxia, Dongguan and mainly focuses on cutting edge technologies within the communications sector with various global partners and clients.
